We are one of the preferred suppliers for the University of Northampton. We are continually installing electrical services to the latest specification. We are also improving their data and voice networks in line with their e-Strategy. We work closely with the Estates Department and IT Services.

Projects we have successfully delivered for the University range from installing a three-phase compactor supply for waste disposal through a latest ThorLux-designed lighting system to a gigabit Ethernet single-mode fibre backbone for the campus-wide intranet.

Moulton College is an agricultural college located in five buildings on a 1000-acre site. We installed a fibre-optic network and multi-core voice connections between the buildings from the main communications suite to provide gigabit Ethernet throughout the site. Part of the challenge was routing fibres through trenches and ducts under farmland with limited access points.

SiGe moved to a new headquarters in Bishop Stortford. We were involved in the conception, design and installation of a full voice/data network and all electrical services including lighting and power.

One of the major projects at Bedford was the ICU/HDU where we installed a complete data network including links to the existing infrastructure. High speed and reliability were a major factor so a high-end flood-wired redundant system was specified and delivered. We also installed the fibre networks and multi-cores for the X-Ray image transfer system.

We installed the data cabling throughout the Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire estate of around 20 ambulance stations. We are continually working at their control centre installing further communications facilities as required.

We installed an entire structured cabling system for their two brand-new self-built head offices in Bishop Stortford and Colchester. This included a total of 791 outlets.

We installed power and lighting for a new shop on the Delapre golf course in Northampton and regularly follow up with PAT testing and general maintenance.
